Job Description

The Brewery is a Visual Effects and Animation company started in 2010. Situated in the vibrant heart of London’s Soho, we employ a small team of specialist visual FX artists and animators. We have a focus on feature films.

We are offering individuals the chance to experience life in our studio and see our artists in action working on soon to be released major films.

Recent films that we have worked on include:

Welcome to the Punch
The Look of Love

Each placement is for 4 weeks, preferably full time for this period. Recent or current graduates or individuals with a keen interest and knowledge of vfx is a must. We will cover your lunch and travel.

Give you Tips and Advice

We would love to see examples of your work or showreel if available and give you tips and guidance on how you can improve your work, CV and showreel.

Our aim is to give you a fantastic introduction into what it is like to be a VFX artist and to give you some advice on how you can get yourself a job and on a career path to becoming one.

You will Learn and Experience life as a VFX Artist

Our Work Experience Scheme is structured around allowing you to learn and experience as much as you can of a professional environment.

You get to meet the VFX artists, ask them questions, get advice, and expand your knowledge and skills further by working on small 2D or 3D tasks on productions set by the artists here.

Some boring bits!

Of course there are some menial jobs to do! But its the ones who can do those with a smile on their faces who will be the ones who make it!!

You'll have small tasks like tidying the studio and kitchen area - nothing stressful!

You'll also need to occasionally deliver drives to other facilities, go on lunch runs for the artists plus general running duties where required.
